Part I: Self-knowledge

Examining one’s own past can develop self-knowledge. At least once a year, please review the past season and try to learn from it. Looking at the season is a good way to get an idea of one’s own successes and failures during the previous season. Identifying successful strategies and overcoming obstacles is crucial.

A beneficial way to look at overcoming obstacles is to remember the events that have led to the goal. By understanding how obstacles have been removed in the past, you can understand what you have done, in what way and what your own characteristics have become. In the end, it’s a question of being able to distinguish between working and beneficial behavior patterns.

The following are good questions to ask yourself when it comes to overcoming obstacles:
Where have you been able to overcome obstacles?
How did you reduce the obstacles?
What happened when you encountered obstacles or problems to change the development?

Good questions about success are:
Where have you been successful this year?
What goals have you achieved this year?
What were the biggest events that led to the goal?
How do you act differently?
Where and from whom did you get support?
